Executive/Senior Executive, Trade and International Economic Relations

MTI’s Trade and International Economic Relations (TIER) Cluster plays a key role in shaping Singapore’s external economic strategy. It leads efforts in trade negotiations, economic diplomacy, and strategic initiatives that strengthen ties with global partners. This includes developing and implementing key agreements such as Free Trade Agreements, Digital Economy Agreements, and Green Economy Agreements through bilateral, regional, and multilateral platforms.

We are looking for driven and capable officers who (i) thrive working in a fast-moving environment, (ii) are adept working with multiple stakeholders within and outside the public sector, and (iii) have experience in providing administrative support. The officer will be responsible for the following: • Provide administrative, operational and coordination support to the teams in the TIER cluster, including meeting coordination, document preparation and collation, putting up administrative approvals for events and trips, managing logistics for meetings and other events, including scheduling, security clearances, securing venues, setting up virtual platforms and ensuring timely follow-ups across teams. • Supporting overseas officers in administrative and logistics matters, including posting and travel-related coordination, and other operational arrangements as required. • Process financial and administrative documents for the teams in the TIER cluster, including processing of invoices, procurement requests, payments and vendors.

You should have: • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with keen attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint • Experience in data entry, computation and analysis
