What you will be working on
- Collaborate with cybersecurity agencies and stakeholders to respond to and troubleshoot common infrastructure backend technical issues to ensure high user satisfaction
- Work with internal and external entities including Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) Operations and Support (O&S) Teams to provide effective engineering support
- Manage technology refresh, upgrades and updates whilst ensuring policy compliance and proper governance
- Monitor and maintain IT common infrastructure performance to meet user requirements and operational standards
Challenge(s)
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of various technological stacks to ensure managed infrastructure meets evolving user requirements
- Driving collaboration across diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure IT common infrastructure effectively supports operational networks
What we are looking for
- Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in technical or engineering roles, with possession of related professional qualifications being advantageous
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure and services
- Excellent leadership and planning abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with leadership, engineers and ground users
- Organisational acumen with ability to multi-task effectively in fast-paced environments
