The Social Service Systems Office (S3O) under the Operations Planning Division aims to better support vulnerable families and individuals with complex needs and ensures that they can access assistance in a timely and integrated manner. S3O oversees the identification and resolution of barriers and gaps across agencies and different parts of the social system, to address these needs.

What you will be working on
You will be part of the S3O team that works with partners, such as policy agencies and Social Service Offices (SSOs), to:
(i) Identify system-level gaps and issues encountered by those with complex needs, e.g. cases with issues that cut across agencies, not within conventional policy boundaries;
(ii) Resolve the above issues, such that complex cases are resolved; and
(iii) Facilitate the development of the capabilities to more effectively resolve cross-cutting barriers and do systems-level intervention.
Responsibilities:
You can expect to:
(i) Derive insights from information on cases and broader trends, to identify archetypes facing barriers;
(ii) Work with agencies to review policies and design processes to resolve issues; and
(iii) Review approaches for case resolution to support partners handling complex cases.
What we are looking for
(i) At least 3 years of policy and/or Soperations-policy work experience;
(ii) Strong analytical skills and ability to think at the systems level;
(iii) Good stakeholder engagement, written and verbal communication skills;
(iv) Data-related skills/experience is an advantage; and
(v) Resourceful team player who exercises initiative at work.
