What you will be working on
Process Analysis and Improvement
• Analyse existing data sharing workflows to identify bottlenecks and manual touchpoints
• Document current processes and propose automation opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data sharing requirements and pain points
Automation Development
• Design and implement automated solutions to replace manual checking processes
• Develop scripts and tools to streamline data validation and quality assurance
• Create automated reporting and monitoring systems for data sharing activities
Data Science Applications
• Develop predictive models to identify potential data anomalies or sharing issues
• Build analytical dashboards and visualisation tools for process monitoring
Solution Implementation
• Integrate automated solutions into existing systems
• Test and validate new processes to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Provide training and documentation for end users
Conversion/Enhancement of Data Sharing Scripts
• Migration from SAS to Pyspark and SQL
• Streamlining/consolidating of common scripts/modules
• Provide WOI standards for data sharing scripts
What we are looking for
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with data analysis libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Understanding of database management and data processing concepts
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
Internship Duration: 5 months (May 2026 - October 2026) | Open to All Undergraduates
