Senior Procurement Manager (1-Year Contract)

What the role is

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team to facilitate procurement operations within URA, driving efficiency, compliance and value creation across procurement activities.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a strategic partner to line departments, providing guidance on procurement rules, policies and processes to ensure compliance and optimal procurement outcomes • Examine procurement submissions including expenditure papers and award recommendation reports, and provide professional advice on the preparation of sourcing documentation such as specifications, appropriate procurement strategies, and evaluation criteria to achieve value for money • Review and strengthen internal procurement processes to drive operational efficiency, enhance compliance frameworks, and ensure alignment with best practices • Undertake additional responsibilities including data analytics, automation projects, and staff training on procurement, as needed This is a 1-year contract position, and further extension will be dependent on work performance.

What we are looking for

Role requirements: • Tertiary qualification in any discipline • Minimum 3 years of working experience in procurement • Good understanding of Government Procurement and GeBIZ is advantageous • Strong in critical thinking, resourceful and meticulous, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure • Able to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment • Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and writing skills
