What you will be working on
Attached to the Business Statistics Division, you will:
• Conduct a comprehensive literature review of international guidelines and best practices adopted by National Statistical Offices (NSOs) for e-commerce statistics compilation.
• Identify gaps in existing compilation methods and recommend evidence-based solutions to improve data quality and coverage.
• Propose enhanced statistical methodologies to more accurately capture e-commerce transactions across diverse industry sectors.
• Review e-commerce statistics published by NSOs to identify reporting formats for potential adoption.
What we are looking for
Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources and present clear recommendations.
Strong programming skills in Python is recommended.
Strong written communication skills for report preparation.
Possess knowledge or experience in Statistics / Economics /
Business Analytics / Data Science.
