What the role is

As a Manager, Psychological Services in the Special Educational Needs Division (SEND), you will be part of the team to help strengthen the support for students with special educational needs (SEN).

What you will be working on

• Develop, implement and monitor new initiatives to enhance the capacity of school management and teachers in supporting the teaching and learning of students with special educational needs • Partner MOE Psychologists to engage and work with relevant stakeholders to improve the structures and processes to support students with SEN (e.g. provide Secretariat support, contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of applications and processes related to the placement, exemption and support for students with SEN) • Oversee case tracking and data management processes to ensure timely follow-through and maintain governance oversight of panel decisions • Collate, analyse and synthesise large datasets, translating them into insightful reports that inform policy decisions • Develop, plan, conduct and facilitate communication to schools and HQ personnel on implementation of intervention programmes • Oversee the implementation and coordination of communication to all stakeholders, i.e. internal and external parties

What we are looking for

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and in diverse teams • Strong writing, communication, critical and analytical thinking skills • Good organisational awareness, ability to embrace and implement change and navigate complexities • Experience in project planning and management • Strong data management and analytical capabilities with experience in handling complex datasets • Some knowledge on procurement management would be an advantage As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
