What the role is
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing building plan submissions, including designs related to safety, environmental sustainability and barrier-free accessibility
Formulating strategies, policies and processes for accessibility standards and advancing universal design in the built environment
Promoting and administering the Accessibility Fund
Carrying out stakeholder engagement and community outreach initiatives to address accessibility challenges and promote universal design adoption
What we are looking for
We seek passionate, energetic and self-motivated individuals inspired to make a meaningful impact in shaping a more accessible and liveable built environment.
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate or Building-related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant building design and project management experience
Good command of spoken and written English
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and perform well under pressure and tight deadlines
Registration as an architect with the Board of Architects or as a professional engineer with the Professional Engineers Board is an advantage
Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.
