Your Impact

As our Designer, you'll:

• Contribute to Singapore's real estate digitalisation by designing user-centric solutions for accurate property listings and consumer protection

• Collaborate with product teams to create intuitive interfaces that simplify listing verification and regulatory workflows

• Apply user research and testing expertise to ensure digital platforms meet the needs of estate agents, consumers, and industry stakeholders

• Help establish and maintain design systems that scale across CEA's digital platforms

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance user interaction with Singapore's trusted real estate marketplace

You may be a great fit if:

• Own the end-to-end design process for CEA's digital platforms, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and implementation guidelines

• Build and maintain CEA's Design System, creating a unified design language that adheres to Government Digital Service Standards

• Develop essential design resources including component libraries, templates, pattern libraries, and documentation to support development teams in implementation • Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure designs are feasible, maintainable, and meet both user needs and technical requirements

• Establish and document design standards, best practices, and guidelines for consumer-facing and industry platforms

•  Manage the design system's evolution, including updates, improvements, and maintenance of documentation

• Stay current with UX/UI design trends and government digital standards to continuously enhance our platforms

What we are looking for

• Preferably degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, design research or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Preferably 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design work

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro)

• Experience in Design System and Government-to-Business Application Development Experience in Singapore Government or Enterprise-Level projects

• Track record of successful design system implementation

• Understanding of various application development disciplines such as Agile, Product Management (Design and Planning) etc.

• Knowledge of Singapore Government DSS

• Seek self-directed learning to improve yourself by staying current with UX/UI trends, best practices and technology trends

• Willingness to work in-office and build trust as a team player.

• Partner with project managers, digital business analysts, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders involved to deliver the required UX/UI design deliverables and ensure that the designs are aligned with business objectives and technical constraints

• Proven ability and demonstrate strong commitment to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, senior stakeholders and leadership

• Good communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to all stakeholders

• Provide guidance to the team members and stakeholders on design principles and practices

• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail

• Ability to handle ambiguity

• Strong empathy for users and commitment to user advocacy

• Strong communication and presentation skills
