What the role is

The Psychological Research and Evaluation (PRE) Division provides research services pertaining to psychological domains within the Ministry and social service sector, such as early childhood, persons with disabilities, rehabilitation/protection, and family interventions. On the research side, this includes designing and conducting programme evaluations, managing data collection and analysis, and preparing evaluation reports. You will translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations for programme improvements and policy decisions, considering stakeholder perspectives and practical implementation to ensure recommendations are feasible and relevant to operational contexts. On the policy side, you will work with policy teams to provide research inputs to meet key policy objectives and priorities. This includes involvement in strategic planning and communication of MSF’s and PRE’s research agenda, as well as providing consultations and evidence-based recommendations to policy and operational divisions. You will also assist with administrative and operational aspects such as staffing and secretariat work for relevant research-related projects/workgroups, procurement and service management for research activities, and consolidating project updates across different research streams.
