What the role is

This project focuses on developing an AI-driven web testing tool to automate functional testing during web application deployments, eliminating the need for manual testing. The project aims to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) in combination with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright to create a flexible solution that interprets test scenarios, automates test execution, and enhances deployment efficiency.

What you will be working on

The project will deliver an LLM-powered solution that converts natural-language test scenarios into structured automation steps. This includes intelligent mapping of user actions to web application elements, generation of Python-based automation scripts using browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, and the development of an evaluation framework to measure test accuracy, reliability, and coverage compared to manual testing approaches. Through this project, the intern will gain hands-on experience with agentic LLM solutions, browser automation frameworks, and automated testing methodologies. The project builds skills in interpreting unstructured requirements, designing adaptive automation logic, evaluating AI-driven systems, and applying LLMs to real-world software engineering and deployment workflows.

What we are looking for

- Experience in Python programming and web automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer) is required - Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and DOM manipulation is required - Experience with LLM integration and API usage is preferred - Familiarity with software testing methodologies and test case design is preferred Possess knowledge or experience in Computer Science, Data Science or related fields Open to Undergraduates and Polytechnic students Internship Duration: May-Jul 2026
