What the role is

Organisational Resilience Manager

What you will be working on

You will be part of the core team that is responsible for sustaining HDB’s high level of organisational resilience to anticipate, prepare and respond to a wide spectrum of risks, operational disruptions, threats and emergencies at Whole of Government and boardwide level. These efforts would comprise of risk and incident management, business continuity and other emergency plans, delivered through iterative, user-focused methodologies. Applying product office principles, you will champion user-centricity by working with other stakeholders and partners within and outside HDB to plan, conceptualise, design, develop, and implement a new Command, Control, and Communications (C3) system as a comprehensive product solution to support effective coordination, decision-making, and communications during emergencies and crises in accordance with policies, resilience frameworks, budgetary controls, and operational requirements. You will work on the product lifecycle of the C3 system, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to operations incl maintenance. Key works can include managing project governance, schedules, budget, procurement activities, vendor performance, contractual deliverables and overseeing system testing, exercises, and readiness onboarding/assessments, including regular progress reporting, simulation exercises and trainings/briefings to ensure a high level of organisational preparedness.

What we are looking for

You should possess a background in Business, Information Technology, or any other suitable discipline. You are a self-motivated team player, with an inquisitive mind-set, good analytical, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills. Candidates with relevant experience in risk-management, operational readiness and crisis management / emergency preparedness role or experience in development and implementation of users-centric and integrated workflow system will have an added advantage. You should also be self-driven and have a strong sense of purpose and mission in yourself and work you are involved in. Successful applicants will be offered a 2 year contract for a start.
