Ministry Of Social And Family Development

Assistant Manager/Manager (Stakeholder Partnership and Engagement), FLG/PTR

Permanent/Contract
Closing on 26 Apr 2026

What the role is

Family Life Group (FLG) strengthens and supports families to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts. Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations, strengthen familial bonds and support them in overcoming challenges. You will be part of the Partnership (PTR) Division in FLG to help nurture a community-based, family-friendly support ecosystem across all stages of life through the Families for Life movement. We promote family-centric campaigns, parenting and marriage programmes and form partnerships with corporate and community stakeholders and volunteers to promote and strengthen families.

What you will be working on

You will play an active role in building and managing partnerships with both corporate and community stakeholders, contributing to national efforts to support families through the Families for Life movement. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, and working across sectors. Your key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Proactively identify and engage new corporate partners, including businesses, CSR teams, and industry associations, to co-develop initiatives that promote family-friendly values and practices. • Pitch partnership opportunities and collaborate with external stakeholders to explore areas of alignment and mutual value. • Support the development and execution of partnership plans that align with the vision of the Families for Life movement. • Establish and strengthen relationships with both new and existing partners across the corporate and community sectors. • Help coordinate and deliver partner engagement activities, such as appreciation events, networking sessions, and collaboration platforms. • Manage and update stakeholder databases, assist with tracking partnership progress, and support budgeting and reporting tasks.

What we are looking for

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate partnerships, stakeholder engagement, CSR/sustainability or business development • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to confidently engage and build relationships with corporate stakeholders, community partners, and internal teams. • Comfortable with outreach and pitching ideas to external partners; able to tailor messaging to different audiences. • Organised and detail-oriented, with good follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. • A proactive team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative. • Passionate about strengthening families and contributing to community building in Singapore. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 4 weeks from the closing date of this position.
