Senior Manager (Partnerships & Programmes), CS CDC
What the role is
What you will be working on
Conceptualise, Strategise and Manage Community Programmes
- To drive strategies, develop, organise and manage programmes to reach out to the GROs (including funding and grant management), Vulnerable Communities (e.g. residents seeking Financial Assistance, Vulnerable-in-Community, Rough Sleepers, etc), and partnerships for Central Singapore CDC as part of the Financial Wellness and Grassroots Engagement pillar of The Better Life @ Central Singapore;
- Lead the Financial Wellness and Grassroots Engagement team in project management and to implement signature programmes/events and national-level initiatives at the District level.
- Propose strategies to market, publicise and enhance awareness of the Financial Wellness and Grassroots Engagement programmes under CS CDC.
- Effective engagement of stakeholders, partners and residents to achieve team outcomes.
- Oversee proper budgeting and allocation of other resources to realise optimal utilization of resources to achieve the programme outcomes and KPIs.
Develop networks of external stakeholders/partners
- Work closely with Assistant Director and Deputy General Manager to build strong networks of external stakeholders/partners.
- Partner key stakeholders to identify community gaps and needs, develop joint collaborations and meet programme outcomes.
- Effective engagement and building of positive relationships with stakeholders. e.g. SSOs, SSAs, community partners, Grassroots Organisations, and partners to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Plan and strategise volunteer recruitment, development and engagement for community programmes.
Leadership and Training
- Lead, nurture and build capabilities of team members.
Other Duties
- To work with the Assistant Director and Deputy General Manager to achieve CS CDC-wide initiatives and outcomes.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Deputy General Manager on a needs be basis.
What we are looking for
- Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.
- Any other responsibilities deemed important to support the overall efforts to promote Financial Wellness programmes and Grassroots Engagement.
- Participate in cross-team taskforce if required.
- Participate in cross-team building initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills
4 years of working experience, preferable with relevant experience in development, management, and review of programmes. Experience in serving the vulnerable communities and GROs partnerships would be welcome, but not a necessity.
At least 2 years in a leadership position or equivalent relevant experience
Others
- Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in a second language (e.g., Chinese, Malay or Tamil) will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
