What the role is

You are responsible for driving MINDEF/SAF's campus engagement and university outreach to strengthen graduate recruitment for the Defence Executive Officer (DXO) scheme through strategic partnerships with educational institutions.

What you will be working on

- Develop and implement comprehensive campus engagement strategies, building partnerships with universities and student organisations - Implement and drive university internship programmes, developing structured engagement pathways and feedback mechanisms that demonstrate career opportunities and organisational culture - Coordinate and implement the graduate development programme, managing promotional activities and participant engagement to develop and retain early-career talent - Lead outreach programmes, recruitment events and campus activities, coordinating with university career services and academic departments to build talent pipeline and maximise interaction with potential candidates - Monitor and analyse outreach performance metrics to optimise relationship-building efforts and demonstrate impact Challenge(s) - Building and maintaining strategic relationships across multiple universities with varying institutional requirements while ensuring consistent programme quality - Establishing organisational credibility in competitive campus environments where numerous employers compete for graduate attention - Managing seasonal academic calendar constraints while maintaining continuous relationship momentum and demonstrating measurable impact on recruitment outcomes

What we are looking for

- Education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, programme management or recruitment outreach roles - At least 3-5 years of experience in stakeholder relationship management, preferably with educational institutions or external partners - Education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields - Demonstrated experience in programme coordination and event management, including graduate development or early-career talent cultivation initiatives - Experience in developing and implementing outreach strategies with proven track record in building professional partnerships, plus strong analytical and communication skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
