We are looking for a well-rounded, highly motivated and creative digital native to join our Digital and Visual Comms (DVC) team. You will be involved in managing and creating content for MSE’s social media platforms and websites. You should also be very familiar with social media trends and be able to translate complex messages into engaging and easy-to-understand content pieces that would resonate with our target audience. You will be part of the Communications and 3P Partnership Division (C3PD), which is responsible for the formulation and implementation of communications strategies, the management of MSE’s digital channels and the engagement of stakeholders to foster shared partnerships of our environment and water and food resources.

What you will be working on

Your key responsibilities may include: • Develop and implement social media strategies to elevate MSE and MSE POHs’ presence in the online space and effectively amplify our messages to target audience through our owned channels. • Conceptualise and produce content for MSE and MSE POHs’ social media platforms. This includes brainstorming, managing the social media grid, researching the policy announcements/hot button issues, coming up with a clear, easy-to-understand script for reels, directing/filming/editing reels, photography, producing infographics and illustrations, engaging third party influencers and content publishers etc. Officer should be social media savvy, well-versed in content creation tools and on top of social media trends. • Anticipate potentially sensitive issues that may affect the public negatively, and propose comms strategies to address the issue (i.e. by producing content, engaging third party ambassadors etc) • Manage and engage our online communities by responding to comments and feedback in a timely manner • Provide communications support to POHs for events and engagements through: o Event assessments o Working with organisers to curate event programme and logistics o Drafting of communications materials, including speeches, talking points and social media posts o Creating and curating social media content for post-event coverage eg videos, photos o Staffing POHs in-person at engagements

What we are looking for

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as mass communications, marketing, advertising, media studies, social sciences or public relations • At least 1 year of relevant experience in content development, social media management, digital ad-buying platforms (eg, Meta Ads Manager), digital analytics (eg, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube Studio), marketing, corporate communications, etc • Design, photography and videography skills will be an advantage • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written. • Good interpersonal and analytical skills. • Strong project management and problem-solving skills • Resourceful, adaptable, driven and a strong team player
