What the role is
As an Executive in the Finance Services Department of the Finance Division, you will be responsible for the following:
What you will be working on
- Handle day-to-day operational matters pertaining to daily revenue collection and liaise with Ops Divisions/departments/vendors
- Perform prompt invoicing and collection of receivables within stipulated credit terms
- Perform month-end closing, bank reconciliations and etc
- Ensure payments are made accurately and on time to vendors
- Assist in asset related matters
- Run monthly report from relevant portal(s) for Divisions/Departments' verification
- Assist supervisor to prepare year-end audit schedules and documents requested by auditors
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors, e.g. system changes, process improvement, etc.
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline with 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
- Background in Accounting or Finance. Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable role would be an advantage.
- Comfortable to learning and applying technology in daily work (e.g. finance and operational systems).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as a team.
