Intern - Enhancing Programme Evaluation (PE) Capabilities in MND Family

What the role is
You will be responsible for the communications and digital innovation efforts within MND’s Programme Evaluation (PE) team. This role involves developing integrated communication strategies, creating engaging content and visual materials, enhancing digital platforms and AI tools, and coordinating capability-building initiatives to promote programme evaluation across the Ministry. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen evaluation culture through accessible resources, improved user experiences, and innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, experience with digital knowledge management systems, and a keen interest in public policy and/or programme evaluation.
What you will be working on
1. Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy to promote and showcase programme evaluation (PE) efforts
(a) Develop a coherent and clear design scheme for all communications materials.
(b) Craft design and copy for communication materials, including eDMs (electronic direct email), using existing microsite content and other relevant resources.
(c) Plan and execute eDM campaign through interactive channels and content (e.g. quizzes, surveys, games).
(d) Curate evaluation case studies and best practices, how-to guides, and FAQs for PE processes.
(e) Refresh PE microsite to enhance site navigation, user experience, and content organisation.
2. Improve efficiency of processes using tech tools (e.g. OGP Plumber, AIBots, SharePoint, Power Automate)
(a) Assist in chatbot development (e.g. response accuracy, output quality) and conduct user analytics to improve chatbot’s accuracy and effectiveness in answering evaluation questions.
(b) Review current evaluation tracking database, to maintain and develop Power Automate workflow configurations, and to build up technical documentation.
(c) Utilise AI tools to research and curate evaluation resources from online sources, identify materials relevant to MND’s work and transform them into accessible infographic summaries to enhance knowledge sharing and reduce information overload. (d) Liaise with counterparts in other Ministries to gather insight, learn best practices and localise using MND-specific examples. (Candidate’s experience, skills and preference will be considered when assigning actual tasks for (1) and (2).)
3. Coordinate and support evaluation capability building (a) Support the planning and execution of learning events such as workshops, including participant coordination, material preparation, logistics arrangement, venue setup, refreshment coordination, and survey administration and analysis.
What we are looking for
• Strong visual communication and storytelling abilities.
• Digitally savvy with experience in UI/UX, design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator), GenAI and automation technologies.
• Good project management capabilities.
• Interest in public policy and/or programme evaluation.
