The School of InfoComm Technology is seeking part-time lecturers to teach modules in any of the following domains: Applied Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and LegalTech.
Being a lecturer involves fulfilling a challenging yet meaningful role. Not only must he / she have knowledge and work experience, but he / she must be passionate about working with adult learners. You will have the opportunity to develop the curriculum, introduce new courses and participate in consulting and other applied research projects. Administrative tasks related to education and school / institutional and strategic initiatives are also an important part of the responsibilities.
Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate wit and innovation, initiatives and good communication skills. It is preferred that the candidate possesses the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or equivalent certification.
The candidate will be assigned to teach CET classes in the area that he / she is a subject matter expert in.

What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Create teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners (Specialist Diploma, Part-Time Diploma and other relevant short courses). Lessons are typically conducted either as evening classes, or full day during the weekdays or Saturdays (varies by programme).
• Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability
• Keep abreast of current trends and developments of AI and emerging trends
• Handle administrative work relating to teaching
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related domain
• Experience in designing curriculum, developing materials and delivering classes
• Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring adult learners
• Proficient in at least one programming languages
