What the role is

The Character and Citizenship Education Branch (CCEB) in the Student Development Curriculum Division 1 (SDCD1) is seeking a dynamic and skilled Data & AI Analyst to leverage data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive insights and enhance business processes for CCE curriculum evaluation and programme. You will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis and implementation effectiveness of CCE curriculum, Values in Action (VIA) and Uniformed Groups (UG) programmes.

What you will be working on

• Design, implement, and maintain Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration • Conduct in-depth data analysis and profiling to uncover patterns and anomalies • Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics • Create compelling data visualisations and interactive dashboards • Evaluate and implement AI solutions to optimise business processes • Collaborate with colleagues and other agencies to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions This is an individual contributor role. We welcome individuals with or without work experience to apply for the position.

What we are looking for

• Trained in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field • Relevant working experience in data analytics, and AI implementation • Prior experience in education sector or public service would be preferred • Practical knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications • Proficiency in Python or R, with focus on data analysis libraries • Excellence in problem-solving and critical thinking As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
