Senior/Application Analyst (Cumulus Project Office), IDTD (2-year contract)

What the role is
You will be joining Cumulus Project Office to support the migration of existing on-premises SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to cloud-based ERP solutions.
As part of the project team, your main roles and responsibilities would include the following:
What you will be working on
• Work with IT contractors and business users (HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement), to review and analyse PUB’s ERP needs, and make recommendations to streamline overall processes to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution(s).
• Responsible for the procurement and implementation of PUB project and procurement system(s) and related sub-systems, including integration points with new cloud-based ERP and other Singapore Government shared systems and services.
• Perform the role of integration and technical lead(s) to advice on IT and operations considerations for deployment and cutover from existing on-premises SAP ERP system to the new cloud-based ERP solution.
• Proactively manage project risks and direct the development and maintenance of plans, practices, and assignments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Monitor the performance of existing ERP system and work with relevant stakeholders and vendors to troubleshoot any issues surfaced in the production environment and handle all aspects of incident response and implement vulnerability mitigation measures.
• Carry out security and risk assessment and checks to ensure security controls are in place and are functioning properly.
• Support documentation management of key workflows, functional and technical requirements for ERP related systems
• Handle audit queries and ensure audit and security compliance are met.
What we are looking for
• Degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of Business and/or Systems Analyst and IT Project Management experiences
• Familiar in HR/ Payroll, Finance and Procurement business domains, with experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Peoplesoft or Workday)
• Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.
• Good technical background to coordinate with technical teams to solve complex requirement and integration issues.
• Good business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
• Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors.
• A self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision.
• A good team player, who is proactive, highly organized and has a positive attitude.
• Familiar with Government Instruction Manual on IT Management (IM8) policy as well as cybersecurity guidelines to ensure that the development processes, procedures and systems are designed in compliance to these policies and guidelines is an added advantage.
• Certification in PMP, CITPM and ERP certifications (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday) will be an added advantage.
