Singapore Polytechnic's Professional and Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy is a leading continuing education and training (CET) academy that advocates the pursuit of lifelong learning and skills mastery. We offer a wide range of training programmes for adult learners to enhance their employability, and partner the industry closely in workforce development.

Reporting to the Manager or equivalent, the Finance role is part of the PACE Finance team focused on executing finance and accounting operations in PACE Academy.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:-

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of accounting entries generated.
  • Investigate and identify root cause of accounting entry errors (as required).
  • Work with partners and vendor to resolve and improve process/system to reduce such errors.
  • Support analysis and budget forecast.
  • Monitor and report utilisation of approved budget.
  • Support the forecasting of cashflow requirements and ensure sufficient cashflow for PACE AP needs.
  • Review and disseminate emails from central mailbox to relevant parties.
  • Monitor and respond to stakeholders’ communications, ensuring high-priority issues are addressed promptly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate and execute other relevant projects and roles assigned.

What we are looking for

Requirements:-

  • At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in financial operations and/or accounting.
  • Positive attitude towards challenging situations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants with experience in Public Sector Organisations or training institutions will be considered favourably.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
