We are seeking dedicated Ops Tech Managers to join our team and support the digital transformation of urban greenery management operations. This contract position focuses on ensuring data accuracy and system integrity within our Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms whilst contributing to Singapore's vision of becoming a City in Nature.

Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in validating and maintaining critical tree inventory data through both desktop analysis and field verification activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to combine technology with arboriculture expertise in a dynamic operational environment.

What you will be working on

• Conduct comprehensive validation of tree data within GIS layers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of spatial and attribute information

• Perform on-site field validation visits to verify tree locations, species identification against digital records

• Collaborate with operations teams and IT departments to identify data discrepancies and implement corrective measures

• Support the implementation and optimisation of GIS-based tree management systems and related technology platforms

• Generate reports and analysis on data quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions

• Assist in developing standard operating procedures for data validation and quality assurance processes

• Work with cross-functional teams to support broader digital transformation initiatives within the organisation

What we are looking for

• Strong interest and aptitude in IT systems, with enthusiasm for learning new technologies and platforms

• Excellent attention to detail with systematic approach to data validation and quality control

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Comfortable working outdoors for field validation activities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data

• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and operational teams

• Knowledge of tree species identification and arboriculture practices is advantageous but not essential

Comprehensive training will be provided on:

• Use of GIS systems and tree inventory management platforms

• Basic Tree species identification

• Data validation methodologies and quality assurance procedures

Successful candidates will be offered an 11-month employment contract with staff benefits. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
