Senior Manager/Manager (Procurement)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Your work roles include the procurement operations to manage quotation and tender exercises, and to guide and advise users on procurement processes, policies and management of contracts. You should have a strong grasp on the principles of government procurement, and good understanding on various sourcing approaches, pricing strategies and contract mechanisms. You are required to be competent in preparation of tender documents and evaluation reports, and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as engage other agencies for consultations. You are also required to analyse procurement trends, identify process challenges, recommend follow-up actions and implement control measures to improve process governance.
What we are looking for
Areas of studies in Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines with analytical skillset, and preferably with professional training in procurement operations such as managing tenders, contract management and procurement governance.
Relevant working experience in procurement policies and operations in the public sector.
Good writing and communication skills.
Meticulous, conscientious and with good reasoning skills.
Independent, self-driven and self-motivated.
