What the role is
What you will be working on
- Develop cyber defence operational plans and training roadmap to level up RSN cyber-related competencies
- Work with various operations and maintenance agencies for vulnerabilities and anti-malware management to ensure RSN systems readiness
- Manage team of Full-Time National Servicemen (NSFs) and Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) to conduct cyber health checks on RSN systems
- Formulate and govern RSN Cyber Defence Security Policy
- Participate in cyber defence exercises and collaborations
- Develop RSN Cyber Security Culture and Awareness Programmes
- Conduct risk/vulnerability assessment and management for safety critical systems
Challenge(s)
- Ensuring cyber defence policy and governance in the RSN is robust to handle constantly evolving Cyber Security threats in increasingly hostile cyberspace environment
What we are looking for
- Qualification in Computing Science, Information System, Cyber Security is advantageous
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing IT/Cyber systems, of which at least 3 years in cybersecurity industry such as cybersecurity system/product development, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
- At least 2 cyber-related certifications from SANS Institute, (ISC)2, etc.
- Knowledge/experience with Infrastructure Security Technology such as IDS/IPS, firewalls and SIEM in large enterprise environments
- Knowledge in cybersecurity related governance and regulatory compliance
TCP/IP, networked systems and Network Infrastructure and Design
- Knowledge in Distributed Systems and Server platforms (UNIX, Windows)
- Knowledge in Safety Critical Systems and risk/vulnerability assessment/management
