What you will be working on
• Review and formulate policies and legislation on content regulation for films, broadcast, arts performances and publications.
• Address cross-disciplinary content regulation issues that intersect with media, policy, law and industry, amidst evolving societal changes and diversity of the Singapore society.
• Understand local and international developments that have implications on the films, broadcast, arts and publication landscape.
• Involves working closely with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and a wide range of Ministries/Agencies.
What we are looking for
• Background in media, law, regulation, or public policy and/or experience in related companies is not necessary but would be advantageous
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills and mental agility
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
• Comfortable with reading and interpreting data and legislation
• General interest in issues related to films, broadcast, arts, books/magazines
