Assistant Manager/Manager (Sanitation Policy Section) – Contract
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work in a team to manage the implementation of the Environmental Sanitation (ES) Regime and review of other sanitation policies. You will be responsible for the following:
- Engage stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of the regime
- Monitor implementation status of the regime by the respective sectors
- Monitor and review effectiveness of ES regime and other sanitation policies such as cleanliness of public toilets
- Assess appeals, attend to queries and prepare recommendation reports / reply
- Work with internal stakeholders on enforcement administrative processes
- Consolidate and analyse statistics and put up recommendation reports
- Assist in any other duties assigned
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:
- Able to think strategically, planning and applying analytical reasoning
- Mature, proactive, meticulous and resourceful
- Able to work well independently and with a team
- Good interpersonal communication skills and confident in public speaking
- Prior experience in policies and planning work will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
This is a contract post until December 2027.
