The Department of Industry and Partnerships (InP) plays a pivotal role in fulfilling Singapore Polytechnic (SP) mission as a polytechnic for all ages and prepare our learners to be life-ready, work-ready and world-ready for the transformation of Singapore.

InP plays a pivotal role in leading the Polytechnic to engage the industry in transformation through the SP Company and Workforce Transformation (SP CWT) initiative. The key clusters include Manufacturing, Built Environment and Maritime. SP CWT is a unified platform of our 12 SP centres’ capabilities that aims to provide guided, structured and holistic help to companies towards enterprise transformation in consultancy, training and paid student projects.

In this role, he/she is responsible for providing execution support for the SP Company and Workforce Transformation (SP CWT) initiative, serving as a key interface between industry partners and SP’s centres of excellence. The role oversees the design, coordination and delivery of integrated enterprise transformation solutions—spanning consultancy, workforce upskilling and applied student projects—to support companies across the Manufacturing, Built Environment and Maritime clusters.

What you will be working on

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support industry workforce transformation and advisory initiatives by engaging companies to diagnose business and workforce capability gaps, developing skills mapping and future-ready workforce plans, and advising on upskilling, reskilling, and job redesign strategies aligned with national frameworks such as SkillsFuture.
  • Develop and deliver company-specific competency and skills roadmaps by mapping current and future skill requirements against job roles and business objectives, and recommending progressive upskilling pathways leveraging Singapore Polytechnic’s CET offerings.
  • Curate and customise industry-relevant training packages by translating company needs into structured learning journeys, leveraging Singapore Polytechnic’s short courses and modular programmes, and working closely with academic schools and PACE Academy to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Provide support and advice for job redesign and consultancy projects for industry clients by applying established job redesign frameworks to enhance productivity, job roles, and career progression, while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience in workforce transformation, human capital development, industry partnerships, or related fields
  • Proven experience in engaging and advising companies on workforce planning, skills development, job redesign, or organizational transformation
  • Hands-on experience in developing competency frameworks, skills roadmaps, or training solutions for organisations
  • Experience in managing or delivering consultancy projects, including stakeholder engagement and project coordination
  • Prior experience working with training providers, higher education institutions, or government-linked organisations will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with national workforce initiatives and frameworks (e.g. SkillsFuture, Jobs Transformation Maps) is preferred

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
