Engineering Executive (Licensing & Environmental Assessment Department)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
Process and assess hazardous substances and waste management licence applications and other supporting documents
Assist and guide the applicants in their licence applications
Attend to and manage enquiries on licensing-related matters
Collate and update licensing records
Work closely with colleagues within the same department and across other departments in administering the licensing regimes
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with knowledge of environmental legislation
Excellent customer service skills with experience managing difficult customers
Proficient in computer systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Self-motivated, committed and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Mature, independent and resourceful with strong analytical abilities
Capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous team player with collaborative approach
