What the role is

You plan, coordinate and oversee training programmes while safeguarding effective governance and utilisation of training resources across MINDEF/SAF units.

What you will be working on

- Plan, coordinate and manage training programmes across multiple units - Use resource management software to allocate and track manpower, facilities, equipment and training assets - Ensure training resources are optimally utilised and schedules are deconflicted - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support training requirements and timelines - Monitor training execution and address resource or scheduling issues promptly to ensure continuity - Establish and maintain training coordination processes and resource management standards - Conduct periodic reviews of training plans, resource usage and system data for accuracy and compliance - Maintain compliance with training governance, safety and administrative policies - Explore technological and process improvements to enhance training coordination and resource management effectiveness Challenge(s) - Coordinating training activities across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities - Managing limited training resources efficiently within tight schedules - Ensuring data accuracy and timely updates in resource management systems - Responding quickly to changes in training requirements or operational needs

What we are looking for

- Education in Training & Development, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field - At least 2 years of experience in training coordination, operations, logistics or resource management is preferred - Experience using resource management, scheduling or enterprise systems is advantageous - Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills - Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing demands - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good communication and supervisory skills (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
