Lead Engineer/Engineer, Digitalisation (Product Engineering), CDPMC

Product Engineering • Design and deliver solutions using low code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) and where required, write custom code or modules to meet technical specifications, including API integrations and secure data‑exchange mechanisms. • Conduct code and solution reviews of work produced by other developers in the squad to verify quality, maintainability and adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines. • Ensure all solutions conform to the enterprise architecture framework and security policies, applying secure‑by‑design principles throughout the development lifecycle. • Prototype and experiment with emerging digital and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to assess feasibility and potential value for upcoming product initiatives. • Plan and execute backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retros; manage delivery risks, dependencies, and release cadence. • Apply agile principles for iterative development, prototyping, training, documentation and continuous improvement. • Partner with users and product management team to develop and maintain product roadmap Stakeholder Management • Regular progress updates to management and seek alignment on product delivery and strategy • Provide and present technical assessment to management and stakeholders on feasibility of implementation.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product engineering, software development or digital transformation • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent disciplines. • Experience in Power Platform development is strongly preferred • Experience in automation tools (eg. UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate), visualization (eg. PowerBI), and other digital and AI (eg. M365 Copilot) tools available will be advantageous • Experience in leading development squad will be a plus • Experience with DevOps tooling (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Confluence, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing) and exposure to the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment is advantageous. • Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology and system design thinking • Strong written and communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
