As the Marketing Team Lead for the Innovation Division, you will helm one of the core engines driving our ecosystem’s growth. You will design and execute strategies to inspire and support corporates to innovate digitally. Your goal is to position Open Innovation Platform as the "gold standard" for corporate crowdsourcing, matching corporates to innovative solution providers at speed and scale.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dual-sided Growth Strategy: Develop and implement necessary digital marketing strategies covering content and media, aligned to overall Innovation’s objectives across three product offerings (i.e. OIP, Discovery Engine and PIXEL), to acquire high-value corporates (Demand) and top-tier tech providers/startups (Supply).
  • Performance & Lifecycle Marketing: Conceptualise, develop and run campaigns, advertorials and other marketing deliverables to amplify reach and conversion; with key workstreams including marketing campaign & ops for thrice-yearly OIP innovation calls, content development e.g. success stories, blogs, EDMs that aligns with social media and paid media calendaring, lead generation campaigns through tactics such as content syndication, market surveys.
  • Manage necessary external media agencies (creative agency and media buying) in developing and tracking digital/social marketing campaigns; ensuring continuous refinement and optimisation of strategies, target audience and cost efficiency/performance to ensure objectives and budgets are met
  • Marketing Data Analytics & Optimisation: Structure and interpret data from social, web, and digital platforms to generate insights that inform content and campaign performance. Deliver clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders across all levels, from working teams to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with internal digital product team to review and optimize website/platform performance to ensure positive user experience and personalised user communications.
  • Operational Excellence: Guide the team on marketing operations initiatives to ensure timely and adequate collation of data across multiple platforms e.g. website, Mailchimp, paid campaigns to maintain an updated customer database.
  • Champion the use of digital tools to improve internal marketing workflows, content production and digital asset management; including assessing the relevance and potential adoption of the latest marketing technologies, tools, and trends to elevate marketing outcomes and team productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with internal communications & marketing department at HQ level to ensure adherence of paid campaigns to corporate guidelines and reporting of end of campaign performance results.
  • Manage yearly renewal of creative agency and media buying agency to ensure delivery of quality and cost-effective campaigns and always-on communications.

Requirements: 

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B Marketing, Marketing Communications and/or Digital Marketing; with a minimum of 2 years in leadership/team lead roles.
  • Ability to understand business needs and challenges and can perform data-driven analysis and decision making especially for Digital Marketing
  • Experience in the conceptualisation and execution of Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning strategies would be ideal.
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Strong aesthetic sense and sharp writing skills for marketing collaterals
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communications and interpersonal skills to engage a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) for corporate demand and Community Marketing for the supply side is preferred.
