Assistant Engineer (Lab & Facilities), Ulu Pandan, Water Reclamation (Plants)

As a Assistant Engineer (Lab & Facilities) with Ulu Pandan, Water Reclamation Plants your responsibilities would include the following: • Manage Lab Daily Operations for both liquids and solids sampling. For example: - Guide contractor to collect samples from site. - Conduct laboratory tests for liquids and solids samples - Perform QA/QC for laboratory tests. - Compile Daily/Monthly Lab Data for reporting • Carry out site checks for sampling point on-site and sampling equipment such as autosampler. • Supervise contractor workers on daily sampling, testing of samples in laboratory and facilities-related work on-site. • Conduct tool box meeting, and provide safe work instructions to the contract workers, conduct safety inspections, review RA and SWP with safety officer. • Plan and execute maintenance schedule for the lab equipment • Raise Purchase Order (PO), Work Order (WO), Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and completion certificates (CC) for Servicing and Maintenance of Lab Equipment, contractor workers for lab operations and chemical delivery, facilities management work activities. This includes verification of works done against service reports/supporting documents to certify payments. • Liaise with facilities managing agent to perform facilities-related work, resolve safety findings and embark in plant improvement work • Track contract expediture for lab and facilities-related work • Analyse and input water quality data and annotations onto relevant information management system. • Arrange and conduct periodic safety inspections and toolbox meetings on site. Prepare and review safety documentation (RA, SWP, MS, etc), permits (NTW, PTW) and related reports.

- Diploma in Civil/Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Chemistry - Preferably 2 years in related field.
