What the role is

As a small nation with no natural resources, Singapore is dependent on imports, trade and investments for sustenance, economic vibrancy and industrial output. Dependence comes with risk. You will be leading a team that conducts research and analysis of our economic vulnerabilities as well as develop strategies and plans at the whole-of-government level to keep Singapore’s economy and supply chains resilient.

What you will be working on

• Conduct research of significant global events and analyse impact to and lessons learned for Singapore’s supply chains and economy. • Develop operational plans and levers to strengthen the resilience of Singapore’s economy and supply chains of essential services across various actual and hypothetical scenarios. • Engage in collaborative planning and solutioning with whole-of-government agencies and economic partners.

What we are looking for

• Experience or interest in quantitative and qualitative analysis with good knowledge of data analytics & visualisation. • Knowledgeable in current affairs, especially in relation to global economic and geopolitical security developments. • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience in managing diverse teams and engaging diverse organisations preferred. • Working experience within the whole-of-government Homefront Crisis Management System or agencies will be an advantage.
