Sr/Exec Engineer, Flood Resilience Design

You will play a crucial role in supporting the project development and implementation of coastal protection infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the team of engineers and consultants to support various coastal protection projects.

Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: • Supporting the management Professional Engineering Services and construction works contracts for coastal protection projects, to ensure timely delivery of projects within the allocated budget • Reviewing and evaluating preliminary and detailed engineering designs to ensure compliance with government agencies' requirements, standards and contract specifications • Coordinating with consultants and contractors on design development and other site and construction matters • Calling of quotations/tenders for coastal protection works, managing contracts and performing administrative procurement tasks for the project works • Coordinating, consulting and obtaining approval from stakeholder agencies, grassroots leaders, nature & interest groups to ensure smooth implementation of coastal protection projects • Managing public feedback and community engagement during the project implementation • Any other duties as assigned

• Degree in Engineering (including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental Engineering) or Degree in Science related to coastal and marine systems, or equivalent • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in planning, design, construction, or operations of water, coastal or other infrastructure projects preferred. Candidates with no prior experience may apply • Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills • Analytical abilities to interpret data and carry out appropriate technical analysis • Competency in coastal and flood modelling tools will be an advantage • Experience in Contract management and/or Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be an advantage
