What you will be working on
This position involves overseeing daily operations, working closely with the FM team, managing service providers, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure Bt Canberra Integrated Hub (BCIH) buildings and sporting facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support a wide range of activities with strategic sporting and community objectives.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve smooth daily operations of the Bukit Canberra Integrated Hub (BCIH). Monitor and review overall frontline enquiries by MOP and common areas' maintenance.
• Set maintenance, servicing, repair and restoration schedules according to organisational needs.
• Implement seamless integration of various vocational trades such as, and not limited to building and property management, M&E, Piping and plumbing, ironmongery, AC/ MV, lifts and escalator, horticulture etc.
• Achieve efficiency and accuracy in resolving building & maintenance issues by managing Managing Agent and appointed contractors.
• Implement integrated programming team support in event set-up and review processes to achieve smooth transition of all events and integrated programs.
• Negotiate with event organisers and monitor event flow to achieve quality services.
• Maintain key POC role for operation related matters and assess feedback from MOP related to maintenance of buildings at BCIH.
• Prepare procurement related documents for projects.
• Prepare technical briefs to identify, evaluate and negotiate with project consultants and contractors.
• Monitor all internal and external stakeholders (within SportSG and Government agencies), and Contractors to resolve all technical problems in order to achieve the desired overall project objectives.
• Maintain administration and implement knowledge management of project tender documents, processes and timelines.
• Management of all project team members to resolve technical issues.
What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 5 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas.
• Good stakeholder management skills to influence and communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• Team player with initiative who adapts well to change.
• Effective project management and coordination skills.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year / Fixed Term contract in the first instance.
