The Manager of NLB Academy will be instrumental in contributing to the growth and development of the new NLB Academy. This role involves working closely with the leadership team to execute strategic initiatives and ensure the overall success of the NLB Academy.

What you will be working on

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of NLB Academy and training requests

  • Work with stakeholders to address competency gaps, incorporating best practices, industry and emerging trends

  • Foster close relationship as designated Account Manager with identified stakeholders

  • Perform market sensing and analysis, and execute marketing efforts to target audience

  • Identify, source, and procure/engage suitable internal and external trainers to develop, customise and deliver tailored Library and Archives programmes based on market demands

  • Conduct data analytics to evaluate effectiveness of programmes and new business areas

  • Provide administrative support to the Director

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Continuing Education and Training, Learning and Development, or a related profession.

  • Candidates with experience in business development would have an added advantage.

  • Passionate about current and emerging trends in library and information science, continuous education, and professional development.

  • Able to work collaboratively, think strategically, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be appointed on a project contract till 30 Dec 2027.
