Assistant Manager

We are seeking a team member to support MDDI’s strategic public engagement initiatives for parents and youths. This role will involve coordinating outreach activities, conducting research, and providing project management support across multiple government agencies and community partners.

• Event Coordination and Community Outreach: Assist in planning and executing community engagement activities, workshops, and public events, including liaison with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. • Research and Analysis Support: Conduct research on best practices, gather feedback from target audiences, and analyse engagement metrics to inform programme development and refinement of outreach strategies. • Administrative and Project Management: Provide administrative support for cross-agency coordination, maintain project timelines, prepare briefing materials, and assist with budget tracking and procurement processes. • Stakeholder Engagement: Support coordination with community organisations, schools, libraries, and other partners to facilitate programme delivery and ensure alignment with existing initiatives.

• Background in Communications, Marketing, or related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience in events management / coordination, or community engagement. • Strong written communication skills, proficiency in MS Word and Powerpoint, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
