As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Finance (Procurement) in the Centralised Administration Office of the Special Educational Needs Division (SEND), you will work with a team to drive procurement excellence and provide administrative support to the division’s initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will be working on
• Execute SEND’s procurement and contract management framework and processes that align with the Government’s Instruction Manuals as well as the Ministry of Finance’s (MOF) overall Whole of Government frameworks and processes
• Work with project teams to understand their requirements, review specifications/ agreements, formulate procurement approaches and strategies for the purchases
• Support the procurement process through sourcing suppliers/ vendors, managing tender processes, evaluating proposals and overseeing contract management while adhering to Government procurement policies and guidelines
• Perform process reviews and leverage technology to add value to the division’s processes and increase productivity
• Oversee and manage the planning, coordination and execution of events, workshops, conferences and training programmes, such as managing event logistics (e.g. venue sourcing, catering arrangements, equipment sourcing, and vendor coordination)
What we are looking for
• Background related to finance and/ or procurement
• Preferably with 2 years of good working knowledge of government procurement processes with experience in event planning, workshop coordination or project management
• Good team player with strong stakeholder management and communication skills to co-create solutions
• Independent and self-driven with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent events and deadlines
