What you will be working on
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and agencies
- Manage roadmaps for new and existing digital products
- Understand the operational needs and challenges of users across the Services in the SAF
- Design, develop, test, and maintain useful and scalable software applications across the full technology stack
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment to support peers and drive innovation
- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices whilst delivering impactful solutions
Challenge(s)
- Keeping abreast of the latest digital developments and conceptualising the applicability of emerging digital technology to the SAF to deliver high-impact improvements
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders to develop digital tools that balance security, stability, and performance needs in a complex operational environment
What we are looking for
- Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, and/or Artificial Intelligence
- At least 6 years of working experience in software development with experience working on large-scale software systems
- Proficient in modern full-stack web application development
- Passionate about engineering excellence and fostering a collaborative and team-oriented development approach
- Strong interest in building technology for public good
