What the role is

CNB Training Unit identifies the competencies required for all jobs in CNB and the relevant learning needs of all the staff. The unit also implements training plans, programs and processes to ensure that these learning needs are met.

What you will be working on

- Support and coordinate all necessary communication and logistics for all in-house courses and training sessions, e.g. liaise with external trainers or vendors for the conduct of training sessions for officers. - Coordinate and monitor course enrolment and scheduling, costs, contract utilisation and results. - Assist in the development of training materials e.g. PowerPoint slides, learning handouts, short instructional videos, etc. This includes development of E-learning programme, including in-service training materials. - Convert training materials to a Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and upload the relevant materials to CNB’s Learning Management System (LMS). He shall also assist to track completion status for courses on CNB’s LMS. - Assist with the Bureau’s Training Needs Analysis and subsequent training planning, and evaluate and measure training effectiveness, e.g. by analysing data such as course evaluations, in order to suggest improvement plans for training delivery. - Assist with data visualisation and infographics for presentation to management and for internal communications broadcast to officers. - Handle any other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

The Job Holder should possess: - Good written, communication and interpersonal skills. - Good team player. - Well-organised, meticulous and responsive. - Motivated and able to work independently and multi-task. Relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressure. - Possess good data entry and analysis skills. - Proficient in Microsoft applications, SCORM authoring tool, e.g. iSpring, Adobe Captivate. - Creative, innovative and resourceful. Proficiency in video-editing and design tools (e.g. Canva, Piktochart) would be an added advantage. - Preferable to have some experience in the area of training and development.
