The Income Security Policy Division (ISPD) leads MOM’s efforts in empowering Singaporeans to plan and save for a secure retirement. Within ISPD, the Financial Planning Programme Department (FPPD) spearheads strategic communications, research, policy development, and international advocacy efforts to improve Singaporeans' financial wellbeing and retirement adequacy. FPPD also co-leads MoneySense—Singapore's national financial education programme—with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), helping Singaporeans manage their money well and make informed financial decisions on their own.
You will help develop and advance the research and advocacy strategy to improve financial literacy and retirement adequacy for Singaporeans. This involves leading research studies on financial literacy and retirement planning, including the Central Provident Fund (CPF)-related matters, whilst working closely with external partners such as research companies and academia, as well as government agencies including CPF Board and the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI).

What you will be working on
• Develop and advance research and advocacy strategy: Implement the research agenda for financial literacy and retirement advocacy, coordinate inputs for international engagements, reports and briefings, and engage with local partners and advocates
• Prepare, provide inputs and present key survey findings and analysis at relevant platforms e.g. MoneySense Council and Workstream meetings, meetings with senior management and external parties (e.g. CPF)
• Lead research studies i.e. conduct of quantitative and qualitative research studies/projects, including managing research companies and other key stakeholders (e.g. academia)
What we are looking for
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Business, Psychology, Social Science or Public Policy
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with 2-3 years of working experience in policy research and/or engagement and outreach preferred
• Strong interest in financial planning matters and CPF policies
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Self-driven and resourceful
