Role & Responsibilities: The Temporary Staff of ActiveGroove (AG) should aspire to bring into effect paradigm shift in how Singaporeans perceive and respond to participation in street dance, with the aim of facilitating and sustaining active participation in the sport (focusing on youth development). Working closely with the Team Lead to plan, design, coordinate and implement programmes and activities, especially for junior and youth participants, with the aim of nurturing them to become leaders and team players on and off the court. You will also fulfil the following responsibilities: • Coordinate with the sports centres and coaches and lead the operations of programmes and set up designated dance zones at identified centres. • Lead the organisation of competitions, including the Lion City Dance Convention (LCDC) to raise awareness and encourage participation in street dancing. • Design and implement activities that will enable active participation in the Club by the parents. • Support the Team Lead in overseeing the development of coaches as educators and role model in guiding and nurturing the Club’s junior and youth participants. • Manage and monitor club databases for coaches and players. • Proactively source for potential schools and outreach platforms to increase the awareness and knowledge about the Club and sport, to increase participation rates. • Form partnerships with credible organisations, whose purposes and objectives align well with the Club to expand its reach, capability and impact.

This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • Demonstrated experience and proven track record in relevant fields such as sport development or club management • Prior experience in project management is advantageous • Good understanding of Singapore sporting ecosystem • Ability to adapt in a dynamic working environment • Ability to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds and different positions • Good organisational, management and administrative skills
