What you will be working on
- Lead front desk team to provide accurate HR answers via multiple channels
- Compile and analyse monthly queries for management reporting
- Conduct HR engagement briefs to servicemen/units on latest HR policies, welfare and benefits
- Handle deviation cases with servicemen, units and Commanders, working with various departments for approvals
- Manage early release cases, briefing servicemen on procedures whilst ensuring timely processing
- Drive innovation and process improvement efforts via digital technology to reduce manual workload
- Actively engage servicemen on organisational HR requirements and exercises
- Serve as subject matter expert in shipboard allowances and Annual Financial Declarations
- Participate in Audit Task Force to verify discrepancies when required
Challenge(s)
- Keeping abreast of latest HR policy developments whilst building subject matter expert knowledge and training team members
- Multi-tasking front desk services and centralised HR work whilst maintaining excellent customer service under tight deadlines
What we are looking for
- Education in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- At least 5 years HR experience, preferably with managerial experience handling teams
- Strong knowledge in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills to engage with various levels of customers
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities
- Tactful and able to handle challenging customer situations
