The Smart Nation– Digital Government (SNDG) cluster operates under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and is administered through MDDI. SNDG is at the forefront of the Singapore Government’s digital transformation. We shape and implement policies and strategies to achieve our vision of a Digital Government that is Digital to the core, and serves with heart. This includes driving innovation across government agencies, enhancing public services, and building long-term digital capabilities for the public sector.
The Strategy, Policy and Resourcing (SPR) Division within SNDG serves as the horizontal Strategy and Policy team to ensure a coordinated approach across agencies towards our vision of a digital government.

What you will be working on
As Manager/Senior Manager (Policy), you will play a pivotal role in shaping Singapore's digital future. Your responsibilities will include:
1) Drive Strategic Digital Government Implementation:
• Drive implementation through the development of comprehensive, well-considered policies that translate strategic vision into practical government-wide action.
• Design and operationalise policy frameworks that enable government agencies to effectively adopt and leverage digital technologies while maintaining consistency with national digital objectives.
• Facilitate strategic alignment across government agencies by creating clear implementation pathways, governance structures, and policy guidance that supports coordinated digital transformation efforts.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across government to ensure policy solutions address real operational challenges while advancing the broader digital government agenda.
2) Foster Cross-Government Policy Innovation:
• Design and implement forward-thinking digital policies that balance innovation with security, privacy, and public interest considerations.
• Anticipate and analyse emerging technology trends, translating their implications into practical policy frameworks that position Singapore's government as a global digital leader.
3) Build Organisational Excellence and Collaboration:
• Foster strategic partnerships between SNDG, GovTech, and other government agencies, identifying opportunities for shared platforms, resources, and capabilities.
• Develop scalable processes and governance structures that enable agencies to implement digital solutions effectively while maintaining consistency with national digital strategy.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable professional with:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in public policy, strategic planning, tech policy or a related field
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Interest and understanding of tech trends and their societal and regulatory implications
• Experience in product management or developing digital products is advantageous, but not a must

• Strong sense of ownership of outcomes, and confidence to assess and express one’s own view on how to drive these outcomes, and identification with the Smart Nation Vision.
