The Family Life Group (FLG), under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) aims to strengthen and support families through different life stages, to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts.
The Inter-Generational Support Division provides guardianship to protect the dignity and interests of vulnerable persons lacking mental capacity by enabling legacy planning using the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and supervising deputyship. It also encourages family support by facilitating the building of intergenerational bonds within families and enabling the reconciliation of families and the adjudication of maintenance claims by elderly parents.

What you will be working on
You will be joining the Operations Policy and Strategy team within the Development and Engagement Unit. The main role of the team is to review and implement ops polices and strategies that will improve the adoption of the Lasting Power of Attorney, enhance the safeguards of Persons without Mental Capacity, strengthen relationship in ageing families, support the reconciliation of families and resolution of family disputes.
As Singapore is a rapidly ageing society, we are looking to strengthen the support for seniors within the family by creating sustainable platforms to facilitate meaningful intergenerational bonding and connections.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following aspects:
• Conduct ops policy review, working with policy, legal and communication teams to implement changes effectively
• Conduct landscape scanning and put together ecosystem and stakeholder maps
• Develop solutions from theory of change, including the conceptualization of new service designs/pilot initiatives and evaluate these initiatives to promote legacy planning and support for ageing families
• Manage projects/programmes and work with internal and external stakeholders including vendors and partnering agencies to achieve the desired outcomes
• Collect, manage and analyse data to identify trends and insights that inform policy recommendations and strategy development
