The Social Support Group (SSP) of the Ministry of Social and Family Development oversees the planning of operations, coordination and delivery of social services for low-income and vulnerable groups.

What you will be working on

The Planning Unit within the SSP oversees the Group’s strategic planning, corporate planning and strategic partnership development, directing efforts and identifying enablers towards achieving the Group’s vision. You will be working with the team on the following: • Developing the Group’s strategies to empower, support and meet the needs of our low-income and vulnerable groups. • Identify and build new strategic opportunities and partnerships with key stakeholders in the public, private and social sectors. • Oversee the Group’s transformation efforts and support change management initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Relevant working experience in strategic and corporate planning • Able to synthesise information and draw links between different workstreams to understand interdependencies • Able to write and communicate clearly, with good interpersonal skills in engaging internal and external stakeholders • Self-driven and able to multi-task • Public sector experience would be an advantage Functional Competencies: • Strategic Planning • Corporate Performance Management • Stakeholder Management
