We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual to lead several key initiatives that support STB’s tourism innovation efforts. Tcube, or the Tourism Technology Transformation Cube, brings STB’s digital initiatives, resources and thought-leadership content onto a single platform to support our sector’s digital transformation.

As the co-manager of the Singapore Tourism Accelerator (STA), you will be responsible for overseeing the accelerator’s operations, including managing the innovation vendor, the procurement process, matchmaking of stakeholders with tech companies, pilot management, and executing the Demo Day. This will involve close collaboration with industry stakeholders to ensure successful matchmaking and meaningful pilot outcomes.

Additionally, you will take the lead in driving the Tcube LEARN pillar, which includes curating and delivering content and events designed to inspire and educate the industry on digital transformation. In this role, you will partner with key tech companies and industry stakeholders to create thought leadership content, such as case study articles and videos. You will also be responsible for capturing and documenting the outcomes of all Tcube pilots to showcase the successful implementation of technology within the tourism sector. Beyond content creation, you will strategically assess opportunities for Tcube to engage industry stakeholders at key events and forums, driving thought leadership through panel sessions, workshops, and showcases.

Success in this role means effectively driving industry engagement through impactful content and events, managing cross-functional collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that Tcube’s initiatives contribute to the digital transformation of the tourism sector. This position requires someone who is both strategic and operational, capable of managing multiple projects, and delivering tangible outcomes that elevate industry tech transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Singapore Tourism Accelerator (STA)

a) Coordination with Innovation Vendors: Collaborate with appointed innovation vendor to ensure a seamless global sourcing and  matchmaking process between tech companies and tourism industry stakeholders. Ensure that the technology solutions align with the industry’s needs and the strategic goals of STB.

b) Procurement Management: Oversee procurement aspects, including budget tracking and contract management of the appointed innovation vendor. Ensure that all procurement activities comply with STB's guidelines and are executed efficiently.

c) Matchmaking and Pilot Management: Lead the matchmaking process to ensure the right solutions are paired with industry stakeholders for testing. Oversee the management of pilots, ensuring that the milestones are met, timelines are adhered to, and any roadblocks are addressed.

d) Demo Day Coordination: Plan and execute Demo Day to showcase the proven solutions, including managing the logistics, coordinating with participants, and ensuring impactful presentations that demonstrate the value of each proven tech solution.

2. Overall Lead for Tcube LEARN Pillar

As the lead for the Tcube LEARN pillar, you will oversee Tcube’s content strategy and events, ensuring they inspire, educate, and drive digital transformation within the tourism industry. Your role will involve strategic oversight and hands-on execution of key initiatives to effectively showcase emerging tech solutions, successful pilots, and real-world applications in the tourism sector.

a) Tcube Content Strategy:

-Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that highlights Tcube’s initiatives, including case studies, articles, research papers, and videos.

-Collaborate with external partners (tech companies, universities, and industry experts) to produce high-quality content aligned with Tcube’s strategic goals.

-Oversee the documentation and presentation of all Tcube pilot projects to clearly demonstrate their impact on the tourism industry.

b) Tcube Events:

-Identify and leverage relevant industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase Tcube’s work.

-Lead the planning and execution of events such as panel sessions, workshops, and presentations, ensuring they align with the following objectives:

​-Inspiration: Showcase innovative technologies to inspire fresh thinking and new applications in the tourism sector.

-Learning: Provide opportunities for stakeholders to build knowledge and practical tools for navigating digital transformation.

-Showcase: Present successful case studies and tangible technology solutions that have positively impacted the industry.

-Transformation: Promote a culture of change by equipping stakeholders with the skills necessary to drive digital transformation within their organizations.

3) Tcube Advisor for Core Tourism Industries

As the Tcube Advisor for one of the Core Tourism Industries, you will play a pivotal role in shaping its technology landscape. You will provide strategic insights and recommendations to STB line units, helping them adopt and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive operational efficiency and enhance the tourism experience.

a) Industry Tech Landscape Scan: 

-Conduct regular scans of the tech landscape in key priority areas to understand the trends and solutions that are relevant to the industry.

-Stay informed on the latest technological advancements in the priority areas and ensure that these developments are incorporated into Tcube’s strategies for industry transformation.

b) Identify Key Solutions and Tech Companies:

-Work with tech experts to identify and evaluate tech solutions that address the pain points of core industries.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with tech providers and partners to create a pipeline of solutions that can support the digital transformation of the tourism sector.

c) Support Line Units on tech adoption:

-Provide guidance and strategic advice to STB line units, helping them adopt and implement new technologies to improve operations, increase efficiency, and enhance visitor experiences.

-Work closely with line units to ensure smooth technology integration and monitor its impact on business outcomes.

What we are looking for

-At least 2 years experience in marketing, project management or stakeholder management

-Strong project management skills, with ability to deliver multiple projects. 

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to maintain relationships with potential partners and apply negotiation tactics and risk assessment in developing partnership arrangements

-Good business acumen and analytical skills to think strategically and make sound judgements

-Ideally to have some experience in marketing

-Independent and highly motivated individual

-Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment

-Strong command of written and spoken English
