What you will be working on
Procurement, administrative and programme support
- Assist in all procurement matters for CDC programmes including providing all procurement-related support to internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with both internal staff and People’s Association HQ Administration & Procurement Division on procurement-related matters.
- Provide operational and administrative support for assigned CDC programmes including the management of project timelines and assisting the project manager-in-charge in planning and execution of the CDC programmes.
- Assist in outreaching and engaging corporate partners, community partners and the community, including the engagement of residents.
- Collate and maintain databases of information relating to assigned CDC programmes.
- Record manage for assigned CDC programmes.
- Assist in reporting for assigned CDC programmes.
- Gathers information and collates data from internal and external stakeholders as required for programmes, reports and meetings.
Programme IC
- To manage and execute programme(s) as assigned. These programmes fall under the 'Social-Emotional Wellness & Inclusiveness' Pillar of 'The Better Life' model and include The Purple Parade, The Purple Symphony, and administration of inclusion grants.
- The successful candidate will also provide support for The Purple Symphony rehearsals as needed.
Ad-hoc duties
- Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties as assigned by senior officers.
- Participate in cross-team building initiatives
What we are looking for
Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 2 years in programme administration or procurement support with understanding of government procurement processes and administrative procedures.
- Strong organisational abilities with experience in project timeline management, reporting, and record management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging corporate partners, community organisations, residents, and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates curiosity and resourcefulness in identifying process improvements while supporting team initiatives by contributing ideas and alternative solutions.
- Questions assumptions and thinks out of the box to find better and more innovative solutions to familiar issues
Knowledge of 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects)
