You will be part of the Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) that undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Description of Branch: Partner and Capability Development Branch The Partner and Capability Development (PCD) Branch focuses on building the collective capabilities of staff and partner agencies. The team seeks to enhance the coordination of common services, enabling integrated management of partners, vendors and related stakeholders. Future Capability Development Section/ Sector Development Team You will be part of the Future Capability Development Section/ Sector Development Team that oversees the capability building of the Rehabilitative Service’s sector partners, namely the Social Service Agencies that deliver pre-Court Diversionary Programmes and pre-Family Guidance Order (FGO) services, Voluntary Children’s Homes (VCH) and Hostels, and Responsible Gambling providers (RG). As part of capability building efforts, the Sector Development Team also delivers trainings to support sector partners in delivering services and MSF-funded programmes to clients. We are looking for dynamic individuals who share our passion in supporting the rehabilitation of our beneficiaries and working closely with our partners.

What you will be working on

Reporting to Assistant Director/Sector Development, the staff will undertake the following responsibilities: 1. Oversee training and competency building efforts for sector partners in the area of youth offender management, including vaping, drug and etomidate abuse 2. Support training and competency building efforts for sector partners in delivering pre-FGO services 3. Support training for RG providers, which involve coordinating trainings and contract management of the training providers. 4. Contribute to other work areas in the Future Capability Development team, where required.

What we are looking for

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Background preferably in Social Science, Psychology or a related discipline • Experience in case management, stakeholder engagement skills and/or knowledge of offender management would be advantageous • Experience in adult learning and development would be advantageous COMPETENCIES REQUIRED • Effective communication (verbal and written) skills • Able to work in multi-disciplinary teams • Organisational skills • Adaptability and engagement skills
